Liquefied natural gas: Algeria, first exporter in Africa

In 2023, Algeria recorded excellent performance in terms of the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG), thus bolstering its standing as a “reliable supplier” and Africa’s largest exporter of LNG, surpassing Nigeria, with the highest export growth rate in the Arab world, the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) said in a report published on Sunday.
