Algeria elected as vice-chair of the Audit Committee of the Council of the World Customs Organization

Pursuant to decision No. 362 of 1st July 2022, resulting from the work of the 139th and 140th sessions of the Council of the World Customs Organization (WCO), held in June 2022, in Brussels, the 12 members of the Audit Committee of the said Council, unanimously validated Algeria's membership and Vice-Chair of this Committee, until the end of the 141st and 142nd sessions of the Council, scheduled for June 2023.

This election allows the national customs administration to consolidate its position within the WCO. and to contribute, more actively, to strengthening the Organization and optimizing its performance.
