Ladies and gentlemen.

Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Algeria in Brussels which provides you with a wide range of information on Algeria and its relations with Belgium, Luxembourg, the European Union and NATO.

Algeria shares a long history of friendship, cooperation and exchanges with Belgium and Luxembourg. Old and cordial relations that have intensified and diversified over time.

With the European Union, Algeria is bound by an Association Agreement which covers  many aspects of partnership, namely political dialogue, economic cooperation and investment promotion, scientific and technical cooperation, environment, agriculture and fisheries, energy, tourism, customs cooperation, traffic and mobility, transport...etc. All these aspects deserve to be supported in order to highlight the rich and numerous potentialities of cooperation between the two parties in the various areas of partnership.

The Embassy is also the home of Algerian nationals living in Belgium and Luxembourg and Belgian and Luxembourg partners and friends who are interested in Algeria and wish to contribute to the development of bilateral economic, scientific, cultural and human exchanges and to draw new horizons for their deepening in a sustainable perspective.
