Algeria highlights France’s lack of cooperation in refusal to extradite Bouchouareb

The Algerian Government took note of the French judiciary’s decision to reject the extradition request for Abdeslam Bouchouareb, convicted by Algerian justice on multiple counts of corruption, embezzlement and influence peddling that caused considerable losses to the Algerian treasury, pointedly noting the absence of French cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs said Thursday in a statement.
