President Tebboune offers Eid al-Fitr greetings to Algerian people

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune offered Eid al-Fitr greetings to the Algerian people on Sunday evening, praising the spirit of solidarity and fraternity that marked the holy month of Ramadan.

"In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful,

May peace be upon our Prophet Mohammed,

Dear citizens,

I would like to offer you my greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, which crowns the spiritual moments we have experienced throughout the holy month of Ramadan," said the President of the Republic in his message to the Algerian people on this occasion.

"We praise Allah, who has enabled us to fast and pray throughout this month in an atmosphere of benevolence and serenity, imbued with the values of mutual aid and solidarity rooted in our age-old society.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all citizens, merchants, and economic operators who, through their irreproachable conduct and dedication, have embodied these noble traditions of solidarity and fraternity.

I reiterate, on behalf of all of you, our national community abroad, and all Muslims, my greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, with a special thought for our brothers in Palestine, who are enduring the oppression of occupation. I implore Almighty Allah to grant His mercy to their martyrs, heal their wounded, and bring victory to their resisters. He is indeed Omnipotent.
