President of the Republic seals 2025 Finance Act

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune sealed Sunday in Algiers the 2025 Finance Act.
The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, in the presence of senior State officials.
After the signing ceremony, the President of the Republic took a souvenir photo with the new Government members.
Adopted on 16 November 2024 by the Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament), and on the 13th of the same month by the People's National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament), the 2025 Finance Act introduces several measures to enhance investment, boost the national economy, safeguard consumer purchasing power and improve citizens' quality of life.
According to the Act, budget revenues are set to rise by 3.5% in 2025, reaching DZD8,523.06 billion, with budget expenditures projected to grow by 9.9% to DZD16,794.61 billion.
It was established using a benchmark crude oil price of $60 dollars per barrel for the 2025-2027 period, while maintaining a market barrel price of $70 dollars over the same period.
The Finance Act projects Algeria's economic growth to hit 4.5% in 2025, with the non-hydrocarbon sector expected to grow by 5%.
