Finance: GDP expected to increase by 4.4% in 2024

The gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to grow by 4.4% in 2024, compared to 4.1% the previous year, according to the forecasts of the 2025 Finance Bill (PLF) presented Wednesday by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Laaziz Faid, before the Finance and Budget Committee of the National People's Assembly (N.P.A.).

The 2025 PLF also counts in its closing forecasts for 2024, on an increase in non-hydrocarbon GDP of 4.7%, compared to 4.3% in 2023, thanks to the performance of all sectors of activity.
