Welcoming of Professor Dr. Djalila Mekahli

Ambassador Mohamed El Amine BENCHERIF received Professor Dr. Djalila MEKAHLI, Deputy Head of Pediatric Nephrology at the University Hospital of Leuven / UZ Leuven and Vice Dean of International Relations, in her capacity as a specialist from the national community established in Belgium.

The discussion focused on the interest and willingness of the University Hospital of Leuven to exploit opportunities for scientific and research exchanges and collaboration with Algerian partners, particularly in the areas of training and expertise.

The Ambassador, while congratulating Professor Dr. Mekahli on her scientific and professional career, assured her of the Embassy's support and guidance in carrying out projects in Algeria, in line with the priorities and decisions of the President of the Republic regarding the promotion of national expertise and their involvement in the development of scientific and academic research.
