Commemoration of the National Shaheed’s Day

The Algerian Embassy in Brussels celebrated the National Day of the Shaheed, corresponding to February 18, under the slogan "The Shaheed: An Immortal Soul and a Pioneering Path of Loyalty", with a stand during which the national anthem was played, followed by the reading of the Fatiha and a minute of silence, in memory of our righteous Chouhadas, who sacrificed their lives and their possessions in defense of the homeland.

On this occasion, the Ambassador Mohamed El Amine BENCHERIF delivered a speech on the significance of commemorating this national day, in which he stressed the need for sincere recognition and loyalty to the great sacrifices of the Chouhadas for Algeria's liberation and independence, with simple means that decided the situation by expelling the destructive settler colonialism, and this in light of sensitive circumstances characterized by the unprecedented campaign targeting the history of our country by extremist circles living the complex of Algeria's independence.
