Commemoration of December 11, 1960

The Algerian Embassy in Brussels has commemorated the 64th anniversary of the demonstrations of December 11, 1960, under the slogan "A people who wanted life", during which the national anthem was played and the Fatiha of the Coran was read, in memory of our righteous Chouhadas.
On this occasion, Ambassador Mohamed El Amine BENCHERIF delivered a speech, in which he highlighted the significance of this date in the national liberation Revolution of the cohesion and solidarity of the Algerian people, which led to the approval of the United nations General Assembly of the historic resolution 1514, which affirms the right of colonized countries and peoples to gain their independence, calling for preserving the deposit of Chouhadas and defending the unity of the nation and the sovereignty of the people.
